Exner Lectures 2024 – Vienna, Austria
MAY 14, 2024
The Wilhelm Exner Medal Foundation (Wilhelm Exner Medaillen Stiftung) was founded in 1921 by the Austrian Trade Association (ÖGV), named after the Austrian economic and technical sponsor. In these more than100 years 245 scientists and inventors, including 25 Nobel laureates, have been awarded this prestigious honor. This year two outstanding researchers, Ferdi Schüth and Giulio Superti-Furga, have once again been awarded the Wilhelm Exner Medal and they will, each, give each a talk. Don’t miss the opportunity to meet Christine, Seungho and Tobias during the poster session “Milestones for a future worth living”. They will present their work over posters entitled: “Not Just a Means to an End! How Neglected Chemistry Affects the Thermoelectric Performance of Solution Processed Materials” for Christine, “Solution-Processed Polycrystalline SnSe with PbSe nanocrystals Toward High-Performance Thermoelectric Material” for Seungho and “A Route to High Thermoelectric Performance: Solution-Based Control of Microstructure and Composition in Ag2Se with Recyclability” for Tobias.
