Abayomi will present his poster entitled, “Solution-Processed PbTe Thermoelectrics with Enhanced Performance via Post-Synthetic Modification”. Francesco and Maria will give an oral presentation, on “Seeking for high-performance Ag2Se using a sustainable solution synthesis” and the groups’ advances on solution processed thermoelectrics respectively.

The Wilhelm Exner Medal Foundation (Wilhelm Exner Medaillen Stiftung) was founded in 1921 by the Austrian Trade Association (ÖGV), named after the Austrian economic and technical sponsor. In these more than100 years 245 scientists and inventors, including 25 Nobel laureates, have been awarded this prestigious honor. This year two outstanding researchers, Ferdi Schüth and Giulio Superti-Furga, have once again been awarded the Wilhelm Exner Medal and they will, each, give each a talk.
